acd reservoir relocation help

Anyone ever relocate their acd reservoir?

Pics/advice would be great.

Most people remove it along with the entire unit and switch to the RS t case

I really don't want to remove and switchout t-cases. I'm pretty sure I saw someone reloacting it in the past.

I've contemplated swapping to a non-acd case i have a Shep stage II in it now.

You can still run a nice intake w/ the reservoir still in the stock location if you're willing to take out your headlight

I've been debating on trying to mount it in the trunk. But I've been worried about if the pump pressure would be affected at all by adding that much extra hose/fluid or any other issues. I dont forsee much of a problem, but you never know with this type of stuff and a smoked ACD is not on my current wish list.

theres been a thread on this for about a year in the advanced forum. seems like the only people who have attempted and or gained any benefit from it, are the full out race cars. not much info, but its a start.

Thanks. Good read, same thing that I'm looking to do, but no pics..

So, is anyone running a alot bigger filter in the IX besides the small ones that are recommented?
