just bought this car and sent it away for a little tuning. It is at the shop now and will be getting dual maps on stock ecu and speed density. 93 pump on one map and c16 on the other map. It will be dynod on a dyno jet. Obviously nobody can guess the exact numbers but any ballpark estimate of each map will be much appreciated.

Any Ideas?

Any power projections based on the list below? We are just waiting on the turbo, everything else is here. Car is on E85 and is located in Santa Monica so its at sea level. Boost from 30-35psi is fine.


Mods List:

- Car is already on E85
- AMS 2.0L Shortblock(O-Ringed with Manley I-Beam Rod upgrade)
- Ported Head
- GSC S2 Camshafts, Beehive Valvesprings, Ti retainers, Cro-Moly Seats
- FP Red Ball Bearing(Ported and 84mm Compressor Inlet)

i'd say a good 5-600hp range with 30-35psi... dang must love that new ball bearing fpred

Yeah Im dying to have the car back and feel the Red BB. It was stock internals/stock turbo with basic bolt-ons and E85. It made 349whp on a Dyno Dynamics dyno when the bearings(conrod to crank) failed at 86,000 miles. It went from a $2,000 bearing replacement to a $12K-$13K build lol. Why make it like it was when you can just spend a fortune and make more power lol? I just want 500 wheel on the Dyno Dynamics.

How much would I make with these mods?
  • Stock 05 10.5 evo 8 turbo
  • AEM Intake
  • Hallman In-Cockpit MBC
  • Prototype o2 dump downpipe, similar to the MAP o2 eliminator except the dump and dp portion are v-banded
  • Megan resonated testpipe
  • Fujitsubo RM-01A one piece catback exhaust
  • Synapse LICP
  • Greddy (pos) UICP
  • Evo 9 bov
  • 91 Octane

What about after these mods?
  • ARP Headstuds
  • Kelford 272s or Reese Tuning 276KK Cams
  • Springs and retainers, not sure which brand, suggestions?
  • GM 3-port with no resistor
  • 91 Octane

Or this?
  • RC 1200 injectors
  • Walbro 255 fuel pump
  • e85

So basically what would I make with the first list (my current mods)? Then how much would I gain for the second and third lists? I plan on getting a retune with each set of mods since I can't afford everything all at once.

Getting tuned next week. Lets make some guesses.

It's getting tuned on 93 as I don't have E85. I don't know what sort of boost I'll be able to run. Any suggestions on that will be considered. Lets hear the guesses!

Well no dynos where I live so I'll ask also! Lol, see my sig for my current mods list. Just got tuned on 93 running 23psi tapering to 19-20!

Gonna do a 104octane race map soon!

-prolite flywheel
-turbo xs intercooler piping(upper, lower)
-snyapsse bov
-act 6 puck clutch extreme duty
-k&n drop in filter
-vishnu custom flash tune on 91 octane
-26 psi
- redline moved to 8k
mishimoto radiator

I would think you should be able to hit around the 500whp mark if not higher. I was running 29psi on pump 91 and hit 496 on VD.
