FP Red,or HTA3076???

Ive come to that point where its time to take the next step..Im a welder, and can make my own manifold..But,dont really want to run racegas all the time,or meth..Looking to make around 400-450..And not have to much lag..Which would be a better option on a stock longblock??Thanks..Justin

if money is a problem id go with a stock frame turbo since u will save a lot. theres more stockframe choices then just fp if u want the max power the turbo offers i dont think theres enough difference to justify getting a 3076 turbo kit. u will have more lag with the t3 compared to a stock frame turbo. but if u r interested in a 3076 i have a CBRD 330r hybrid with 82ar 4 bolt for sale on the forum. i made 486 on a mustang dyno with pump and meth.

naaa would not get the 30r old tech might as well cop the red. if your worried about spool so much you should really consider the hta green or the bbk full to be honest. Good job deciding not to run meth

Do not even consider a non-factory type turbo. An FP Green, BBK, or an FP Red (at most) can get you to that power level without sacrificing more spool characteristics than necessary. Going to an HTA3076R with conventional open T3 manifold will absolutely worsen spool characteristics and will not necessarily bring more power to the table.

in your case... FP red.

i had the HTA30r and loved it. very fun street turbo for a DD decent hp beast..
i went from HTA30/.63 to a 6262/.63 and had zero regrets tho...

what are you planning to do with your car... street terror, drag monster, or time attack...

I would consider a stock frame turbo for the street or strip, but would look into ball bearing turbos for the road course realm...

If ur aim is 400 pump, then BBK full or HTA green is ur best choice (almost stock spool and 400whp on low-reading dyno).. If u'll run on E-85 then u should consider the FP Red which will be laggier than the previous 2 but will give u additional 50whp!!
