Nice initial numbers. You guys aren't wasting any time!! I was hoping the box of stuff we are shipping you would make it there before the testing/racing started!

Very nice job, as always.

Dont worry we got a loaner so we could fab up the piping right away.. We just need to add your exhaust for the event in a couple weeks.

check your email when you get a sec..

Yes Race FMIC is on the car...

Todays testing is done for now.. We figured out how to get more boost so that is not an issue. However we don't have the fuel or ignition to support it so we had to abort the run early.. We did see 600TQ though and a Graph that appears as though it will go straight to 700whp.. We will see as soon as we get the Fuel Setup sorted to support that Boost!!! Ill keep you guys updated!!

Thanks!!

This shows that the 2.4L will make 42psi on the FP Black..

IMO it doesnt appear as though we are going to have an issue making close to 700whp.. Check where the car is going on 42psi.. The car never made it to Peak TQ and its at 600tq already..

As for the Black being lazy its making 600ft lbs of TQ at 4600RPM.. The car should FLY when its dialed in..

Damm that's serious! Hey Mike, have you had any customers tuned with the 5857 yet to compare to the black, how do you think they will compare? Any boost creep issues with such power on an inernally gated turbo?

how did you get the boost to come in so much faster on the 42psi run?
Cam timing or have you changed something in the setup?

I'm sure the shaft speed at 42psi on the 2.4L is over the maximum limit. Hope she lasts long enough to finish up the tune and make a few passes. Good luck.

Nice - you can see where the BBK ran out of steam up top the Black carries it all the way to 8k. It's going to FLY!

Which means your FP Red shaft speed was way over its maximum also, correct?

No cam timing changes.
They asked for my help in getting the boost up and I granted their wishes.
I was logging the wastegate and figured out what the problem was. Too bad we did not discover this earlier because it would have helped with the earlier results.

I have not yet had a chance to tune the 5857 on a customer car.. We weren't seeing any boost creep at all with this car.. We just need to fine tune the Boost controller setup on the car so we can get 42psi max boost.. Soon as ignition and fuel are addressed well be back on the dyno @ 42psi..
