Flashing CEL, No code?

Hey guys. Not 100% sure if this is the right forum, but it has to do with my engine and drivetrain so i figured it would be ok lol. Feel free to move it if need-be.

Anyways. On Sunday i finished my Trans and clutch swap. I filled all my fluids, bled my ACD, everything went smooth. I started the car, started up fine, runs the same...but i have a flashing check engine light. So i kinda worried, started to look into things. Cant find ANYTHING. Nothing is unplugged, everything is put back together the exact same as before. I decided to drive the car around the little loop, just to see if it would turn off. Nothing, still flashes. Today i had a buddy bring a code reader over, and its still flashing...but not throwing any codes at all. Its all clear. What is going on? The light will flash with the car running, with the car set to "on", and all other times that the guage cluster is lit up.

Any help?

This is a new one on me. I am not aware of any circumstance when the SES should flash. It is either on or off.

You might try doing something that induces a code and then check to see if it is saved. Probably, the next step (if you care) is the swapping the ECU. I say if you care because having a car with no SES that runs okay is not really a problem according to me.

I talked to a few people, and a few tuners and all of them have NEVER heard of an issue with a check engine light flashing steadily like this. Im gonna disconnect my battery tommorow and reset it all...see if that gets rid of it.

Sounds like the check engine light flashing from knock. Do you have the mod in your tune that makes the cel flash when knock is detected? It may be phantom knock from the clutch if it's a twin disc

It is a twin disk. Its not that kind of flash though. I do have my ECU setup to flash with knock, and i have had it flash on me before, and its a quick, on/off flash, sometimes 2-3 times, overlapped. This is a steady "blink, blink, blick" while the car isnt even running...

Ever figure this out? We are currently having a cold snap here in AK and I'm having trouble starting my car. When I turn the key to ACC my CEL just flashes at me.
