rod bearings
rod bearings
Well a little info on why I need new ones. I heard this noise it sounded weird under load so I had to look in to it and I found out that my rod bearings were going out it looks like the metal was flaking off (I had a bad oil pump and I didn't know it) so I am looking in to getting new ones what kind should I look in to.

I have ACL in my car, Clevite77 has been making bearings since before any of us were born, cosworth is by no means bad, there's more that aren't coming to mind I wouldn't mind in my engine, You really can't go wrong with any of them as long as you buy the right ones. Just check your clearances and make sure the bearing journals aren't scratched up at all.

That part number is std bearings but it looks like it has an undersize marking on it. You have a turned crank? If so that is the source of the issue, oil pump helps it along of course but turned crank=fail.
