The right config

Hello everybody!
Just have finished my 2.3L (evo9) engine build and now try to find the right turbo+camshafts for it.

What I do want:

1 - Lower and faster than stock spool and punch
2 - As much as possible power and torque in 3-6k rpm range (I do not need anything higher than 7k at all).

Please suggest the best choice from the list (or add if I missed some ideas):

1. evo9turbo + stock cams + 42(?) restrictor + stock 02 + stock cat back + aftermarket downpipe/test pipe

2. tomei turbo (or green ar any other 20G) + stock cams + aftermarket 02/downpipe/test pipe + possibly 2.5 aftermarket cat back

3. = 2 + coss m2 cams, but I doubt if it reasonable

4. FP black turbo + coss m2 cams + aftermarket 02/downpipe/test pipe + 3.0 aftermarket cat back

The car has also some more mods like blitz sonic air filter, VW solenoid, 3.0 aftermarket IC (stock IC pipes), the head is ported with stock valves, the ported ex. manifold, compression ratio is 9.2/1.
2 types of fuel going to use - 93 gas for normal driving and e95 for some events.

Thanks for help
Dmitry

And what I have already found - few mods that kills spool:

1 - aftermarket o2 - improves topend and smoths the punch
2 - larger IC pipes
3 - larger IC
4 - 3.5 (or 3.0) vs 2.5 (or stock) catback - also moves the power to higher rpm
5 - aftermarket ex. manifols moves the power to higher rpm

Your question is *way* vague, but if you want better than stock spool on an IX, go with FP 4R cams. You can have 25+psi by 3000rpm even on a 2.0L. If you want the most bottom-end possible, stick with the stock turbo. If you really want the most powerband possible, I say go with the BBK Full, and here's a perfect example:

FP 4R + BBK Full IMHO is your best choice. Any chance you put some higher-than-stock compression pistons in that motor? That'll help down low too

I'd recommend an HTA Green with Kelford 264/260s for the powerband you're going for.

Any 20g turbo moves useful range at least 500rpm higher(Green, Tomei etc) or even 1k rpm (red, black). I want more than stock torgue and hp but in stock rpm range That is why I build 2.3, that is why I increased compression ration from stock 8.8 to current 9.2.

I even think about to install restrictor in order to have more middle range torgue. May be I should go fo these cams?

The 4-TX258 camshaft is specifically designed for use in restrictor plate rally car engines. The low duration, high lift intake lobe design and long duration exhaust are a proven combination for this application.
