oil filter sandwich adapter?
i hv some sandwich or adapter questions too...
i did hit my oil filter to ground & engine oil leaking while driving, even after relocate the oil filter but the distance still not much different.. im using a 2 pcs type (oil filter relocator kit) but after installation the clearance to ground is similar compare with before (distance from oil filter to ground is for stock, now is measuring as from earls 90 deg elbow to ground)..
At last i found a product maybe could help to reduce the clearance to ground,
its Moroso Remote Oil Filter, Rotating 90 Deg. Adapters (part no.23685)*
• Manufactured from Billet Aluminum with a black anodized finish
• Marked –10AN inlet and outlet to plumb a remote oil filter and makes it easier to plumb an oil cooler and accumulator
• Mounts on the engine block’s spin-on oil filter pad
Any1 using this? or hv some comment on this?

I just recieved mine in the mail actually. Looks like a quality piece. I do wonder if the screws will seal like they should though, maybe using some copper crush washers will help.
You guys don't need to use the filter sandwich. Use the two ports as described by some of the people here to tap the stock oil block.
There are two holes, and instructions can be found here.

Get rid of the sandwich and adapters. You don't want to make the oil filter lower to the ground than it already is.
Follow the link I posted, and use the stock holes in the oil block to tap for the sensors!!! You just need a 3/8 reducer to a 1/8 (depending on your sensor size). Most sensors are 1/8.

I know this is getting a little off the topic from what the OP was asking, but I'm actually running the Greddy oil filter sandwich plate on mine with a slightly shorter oil filter for ground clearance. I've had it like this for almost a year and have not run into any ground clearance issues yet. And, if concerns regarding the the shorter oil filter and filtering issues come up, I change my oil religiously every 3 months/3Kmiles so I don't think i would be compromising anything. I also consulted a few a of mechanic friends, and they said that it shouldn't be a problem... Just another option for the OP.

The main purpose i need2 remove the oil filter bcoz the position is too low.
so can i tap some holes (or use the sensors hole) to be function as deliver oil hole?
then the sensor i can put in the after market's oil filter relocator kit (the adapter got 2 sensor hole which i can relocated inside engine bay.
some others question..
1) There is 2 hole at oil block, ist oil pressure sender & temp sensor sender?
2) Can i use either 1 to mod as deliver oil hole? which 1 u prefer?
3) Both of them is in "out" oil flow direction right? then the srew in the center of oil block (to screw-in the oil filter for stock car) is "In" oil flow direction, correct?
4) finalize it.. so the oil sending will start from either 1 sensor sender at oil block (as out) to the oil filter that relocated in eng. bay, after filtered then back to the srew in the center of oil block (as in) then i must block the original out hole for oil right?
sorry for long typing here.. thanks in advance..
I have the Stri dsd oil temp. gauge and I don't wont to have to spend money on the oil filter block adapter but am not sure of which fitting size is on the O.E. oil filter housing. please help
