That is bizarre, huh Mikey. You'd think that the BB core would reduce spoolup time wouldn't you. It is good to know that Robert did that comparison test. If this is the case then why go and throw money at such an expensive conversion. Well, I don't have to worry about BB cores....because I can't afford it

The only reason I can think of for the BB turbo to not show an improvement in spoolup would be if the WG spring preloads were not the same on the two turbos.

I was planning to do that to my Red so that I can keep it in the 600hp range without overspinning the turbo but Robert said it is not worth the money to do that. He said just upgrade.

I don't know about the WG spring prelaods... That is a question that would have to be asked to Robert!
