I purchased the Greddy RSPL yesterday and will be having it installed tomorrow. It retailed for something like $885 or $895 but I got it for about two hundred dollars less. I've heard nothing but good things about it so I'm confident that it will work fine for me.
Magnus makes our intakes for us. We have him do a few things with mounting brackets and the throttle body flange that he doesn't do on the ones he actually produces and sells direct.
I have heard as much as 30 whp from the intake manifold change. The one test we did here on our dyno we saw very little change, a gain, but not much. The car had some other issues at the time which prevented us from making more power.
In the past the intake manifolds (sheetmetal) have been like adding a larger cam to the car. The top end is increased with a small sacrifice down low, generally.

O sorry, my bad. Misread. Its based off a core that has ran in the 9's. Oops. Anyways. Its still the best deal IMO.
Is cutting it really that big of a deal? To me it isnt. Besides can you use that tray if you get a body-kit of any kind? I dont think so ... correct me if im wrong havent dont much reading.

There have been other threads where the majority of those posting didnt want to cut the tray. Also, doing so would bump you up a class or two under SCCA rules. So much so that Buschur offers one for that very purpose now.
As far as body kits, well, since I don't waste money on such things, I wouldn't know...

Now that was funny
I agree, I really do not want to lose my undertray. More importantly I really do not want my i/c to hang low enough to drag or be damaged when going up drives since I live in a VERY hilly area.

I finally got around to installing my Greddy IC. Fits like a glove, though the IC pipes are a PITA to install (esp the the dump pipe coming right off of the turbo!). Hard to tell with the butt dyno, I was never really all too good with that, but my boost seems to have jumped 1/2 psi or so since installing it.
