unless u're ok with really slow spoolup and a very short powerband, yeah..

the gt40 is good, but it's more for pure drag cars that need nitrous just to spool up the little 2 liter engine we have..

u need to ask urself some questions first.. for example, what kind of power are you looking to achieve? what type of racing will u be doing with the car? will ur car be a daily driver?

for every day the AMS turbo can be used at around 20 psi and still achieve way over 400whp when tuned..

Damn MrBubbler, 550whp as a daily driver? That's just asking for trouble! I'd probably have a run-in with the law everyday...

So I take it, aftermarket IC is only necessary when you get a larger turbo?

I want to mod as far as the stock turbo will take me, and I'll be satisfied... (college student on a budget). So no IC, and probably just IC piping for me. I think that's the way to go, right?

My friend mark has a gt40 and runs the avo intercooler which isnt much bigger than stock with not problem. He drives his gt40 daily but after riding it its a ****ing beast!! you have no Idea, and be carefull taking canyon runs with 500-600hp, he has 400whp and at the track his rear was breaking lose like crazy, more hp is not always good for track and canyons.

HKS's unit requires the bumper cover to be cut also I don't think it's out on the market. And the Supra guys use the 4 row greddy units mostly from what I have seen here in NJ and the tri-state area.

I'm sure the HKS unit is good but I have not seen one for the EVO yet.

Boost Solutions installed a GReddy 4 row. The thing is BEASTLY.

Too bad it requires bumper support removal or something like that, same with the HKS one... bummer.

I would hate to get in a front end accident with that I/C. No bumper brace.
