I didn't have the lower pipe, but I did use a MUSE unit which worked fine with my evo 9 based 20g and Buschur Race FMIC.

I did use the injen intake and UICP and honestly, it was pretty good. I didn't even use tbolt clamps. I ran upwards of 28psi on my 20g and never had a pipe pop off. (VDR, 368whp on 93 with stock turbo and 412whp on 93 with 20g.) Also, my fuel trims were always SOLID which is the main reason why I wanted this kit. Didn't have to mess with tuning the MAF.

I like the black paint on your system. Only reason I have not done that on mine is that I worry that once it starts coming off, it will look like crap.

I recently finished upgrading all of the couplers to silicone, haven't had a blow off ever since.

the lower pipe is comparable to the OEM lower intercooler pipe. the upper pipe is an upgrade over stock, but short route would be the optimal choice

Have had mine on for almost a year with no issues. I will be upgrading the lower to most likely the muse shortly. I'm in Cali so with the smog laws I will be keeping the upper and intake.

The short route UICP has more clearance than any standard route UICP, so it'll be fine.

I had no problems installing on my old Evo 9 MR. But the thing I hated most was no lip on the end of the piping to properly hold the couplers on. I don't know how many times my lower piping popped off when I WOT. Even used 2 T Clamps to hold it and still had the problem lol.

I bought an Evo 9 MR a few months ago and it came with the injen intake and UICP already on the car. I’m looking to upgrade the FMIC.

Do you know if the injen intake will run fine with ETS intercooler and LICP?

The intake doesn't interact with either of those in a meaningful way so should be fine
