What should my EGT Gauge be reading?

I've been kind of worried lately because my EGT's been going up to 90-95. I never floor my car, but when I'm going around 65mph and gas it a bit making it goto 80-85mph, the EGT hits around 90-95.
A friend of mine with a WRX says that its NOT normal. I was just wondering what you guys with EGT gauges think.
My EGT Probe is in the Exhaust Manifold and not the downpipe.
I have a S-AFC II (which might be causing the problem...the shop I went to set the settings. They said that the settings were for the EVO VII so I just let them do it.)

So you are saying 90-95, that does not sound normal, I quess is time for upgraded intercooler , just kidding. If the S-AFC is using the settings for the Evo7, that might be the problem. Check if you can find the settings for the Evo8.

Are those numbers 900 to 950 degrees Fahrenheit or Celcius? Also, what is the average that you should expect to read? I am getting an EGT in soon and an AFC 2.

Thanks

EGT Probe location: exhaust manifold top of runner 1 about 5cm or so from the head.
Gauge & Probe: Autometer measuring in F. max @ 1600F
Car: stock
Readings: idle is about 900-1000F, cruising in gear is in the 1200F range and if I WOT I get into the 14000F.
