Best size intake for 35r?

What is the best intake to use for 35r? I have been using stock pipe with perrin filter on my stock turbo. Shall I stick to the stock pipe or change to something like samco. What size is the samco intake?

Not sure how you would fit a stock intake tube on a 35R. For example, my 35R has a 4" inlet. So, I'm either going to use a 4" to 3" adapter with a 3" straight pipe (with MAF adapter plate and filter), or a straight 4" pipe with filter on it.

I would strongly recommend going with a 4" intake for your setup and definitely consider switching over to SD. When I tried the 4"-3" reducer and ran a straight 3" pipe it caused a huge restrictions at the inlet. As soon as I removed the intake pipe I gained 35hp on a back to back run with and without the pipe.

Went with AMS intake kit and it does not fit. Filter is too long for MAF setup. AMS should look into it. Anyone aware if Buschur or ETS one is of correct length?
