Head Stud swap...

So, with the mods and boost I plan to be running, I've had a few people suggest I swap to L19 head studs. The car should be creeping up close to 700whp on a Mustang Dyno (no dyno wars here, but it's a pretty rough heartbreaker dyno) at aorund 38~ish psi from a 6262. I have the standard ARP studs now. My question is should I go ahead and completely remove the head or do you guys think I can get away with the 1x1 method? I've done the 1x1 from stock studs to ARPs, but not sure in this case. Here are the 2 routes I was guessing. Either do the 1x1 method and leave it at that or remove the head. If I remove the head, I would want to get it checked and possibly decked as well as have the head mating surface on the block checked to be on the safe side. The head has been decked one time (although only a very very slight amount) when I did my motor build. What are your "professional" opinions? I don't want any info from someone who has no experience or doesn't have any credibility to why they are suggesting what they do. Thanks everyone for any help!

Pull the head off and do it right the first time. My ARPs were put in using the 1x1 method and over time I developed a slow coolant leak down the back of the block. Sometimes you get lucky and the 1x1 method works fine, but in most cases it will eventually cause issues..

I would agree with above. Taking a chance like that on such a build has the potential to get really expensive over something that should be done correctly.

Thanks for the input. I'm just wondering about it being resurfaced two times.

The 1x1 method when done correctly is fine. Also the worse case scenario is that you eventually need to remove the head. So if it is "hit or miss" like some say then you take a gamble and if you lose do the whole head. The #1 cause of the leaks is when people loosen all the bolts at once. NEVER loosen all of them at once. Loosen one and retighten it BEFORE you loosen another.
