If I wanted a 5-speed, I would have bought a GSR! I'm keeping my car a 6-speed! I look forward to any updates! Thanks!
Good man Howard!!!!

Laramie TX. Whenever the I destroy 4,5 or 6th.

Would the parts be able to be purchased without Shep rebuilding it himself?

doesnt hurt to have an extra transmission in the garage

considering I just broke my 6 spd, and will change it with another, I am definitely interested in the shep gearset... (but just the kit, I can not ship the box over..)

soooo, with these new ratios, how will that affect driveability of a car NOT pushing big WHP? I'm planning on staying pretty close to stock...maybe 320-330whp. I've never done much research, or spent much time trying to understand gear ratios so I don't really know what these things will mean to me. it seems like the gears will just be longer than the stock ones which means slower acceleration, but higher top end for stock-like cars. I'd like to keep the car's acceleration the way it is for autocross.

anyone care to comment on this? thanks in advance.

for those of you that are just waiting for your trans to break, may I add that when my 4th gear broke, it took out the whole transmission, AND the rear diff... (I am guessing that the transfer box broke also but do not know yet)

so better change the gears before they go..

I'll have some pics in a bout two weeks when I get back from the vacation and take the car apart..

Need 3

Glad to see this finally coming about, especially considering that way back in 2005 I gave Jon at TRE 3k to do this and it never panned out. I'm in personally for 3 of the rebuilt 6 speed transmissions.
