and it happened to my beloved 450/450 DynoPack 8-MR at 119k miles. Not sure what to do now. :-(

New bell housing = good to go!

Thanks. Yes! It's the instant torque of the HKS turbo after the 2.3 rebuilt around 70k that got me worry, but then it's not the gears that broke but the bell housing clutch pork. Not sure how it happened. Light turned green, I pushed the clutch pedal in and... it won't come back. I was hoping for just a clutch replacement. But as you said, it's time for a rebuild.

English Racing had a bunch laying around last I talked to them. Hit them up and see if you can figure something out.

RRE was able to order a new one from a dealer local here and supposed to be here mid next week. But thank you anyway for your tip.
I'm thinking Albin 3-5th gears for the rebuild but it's expensive so I'll need to sell some organs. LOL. But seriously it's expensive but I guess that's the price for having the 6-speed.

All that and more is why I had to finally give up on my 6spd. I miss it LOL. With the rebuild, the shifter assembly thingy I'm using, and bushings, I really like how my 5spd shifts, so at least there is that. It feels like a gated shifter, if that makes sense LOL.

So... I'm locked out of 6th gear on my MR. Called Shep and they told me they no longer do rebuilds on the 6 speeds due to too many discontinued parts. Now I plan on doing the rebuild myself as I can purchase a set Synchrotec carbon synchros. I want to replace the synchro springs but I can't seem to find them anywhere. Anyone know of a company that produces them in the aftermarket realm?

You might want to reach out to DB Transmissions and Performance in Cali who specializes in rebuilding Evo transmissions. They might be of some help. They can be reached at (951) 651-6025
