I wasn't talking about you. I was commenting on your response. They gave him the brush off response.

I don't use their product due to the price. Now if I got one for dirt cheap or free. Hell yeah. Kinda like ARC ...part looks AMAZING. However, there are many different companies offering the same thing without the crazy high price tag.

Coils are electronic items, so usually wiill work or they wont. That is why you can get away with a used kit. A coil with 45k miles on it should not be any worse than a new one, unless its malfunctioning. If the coils are not giving you misfires then they are ok. You can buy a brand new coil and have it be bad, and you can have a coil with 100k on it and still be good.
With my Spoolinup Kit I got real Denso coils. No misfires, runs great, and if I have issues I am able to test my own coils. I dont know what the competitors are using, but I like that spoolinup is using Denso coils..
Here is a pic of a car I worked on today that had a bad coil. Genuine Denso, same as my spoolinup kit, compared to aftermarket comparable;

here you can see how much beefier, although in bad condition, the real Denso coil on the right is.

the boot is also slightly different, with a different taper design. So whatever company you go with, just know to get genuine products. my .02

Ill keep my personal thoughts of the sparktech system to myself but you are right same product from spoolin Up and does not cost the price of a manifold. to me a warranty is just that once its over its over you either pay to get anew one or buy the product again if it preformed as advertised

Correct my if I’m wrong, but the basic explanation is that the Non-CDI doesn’t come with an ignition box (boost's the spark strength) the CDI does.

I bought the AMS ignition on here from a member, brand new for a steal. I love it. Looks great and the quality is awesome.

This might have been covered in here already but can you still use the (coil)spark plug cover with either the Sparktech or the spoolinup kits installed? I would definitely like to keep the cover on.

I strongly vouch for the Sparktech system. Exceptional workmanship and materials, and a very strong warranty policy. High level tech support when and if you need it. All you could ask for in an ignition system manufacturer. And yes, I paid the standard price for it.

I only have experience with the SpoolinUp, but I was very impressed with it.

SpoolinUp used coil kit; 46 psi on a 6765. For the price it can't be beat.
