my guess is, your moving more air now with the maf sensor gone

It's just enough to tip it over whats comfortable with your set-up.

FWIW when I was adjusting mine it had no issues at full throttle either, it was only the part-throttle in-boost applications. Easiest way to get mine to flutter was 200-2500 RPM in 4th gear uphill and trying to gently accelerate and it would flutter at about 6-8 PSI

So I have driven with the DV in pull mode port A connected and port B venting and so far it seems to be holding without fluttering. Tomorrow I'll trying out WOT which I'm sure should be fine

Synapse vaccum leak

I've got a vacuum leak at ports a and b right at the fittings of the DV. I'm looking to replace the push fittings with nipple fittings with the hose over them. I'd also like to replace the Y adapter and plastic hoses. Im guessing the thread is 1/12? 4mm diameter, what diameter hose? Has anybody done a replacement for these and have any info?

The Synapse DV originally came with barbed nipples as an alternative to the push fittings. Call them and ask them what they use and where you can get some.

They still exist... they have an office near where I work. I tried to go there to pick up a DV, but they wouldn't let me said I had to order online. The best way to get a hold of them is by phone from my experience.

I cant speak to where they work, but their location may have limitations on customers. Since I do my side business out of my residential area, one of the things I very specifically cant do is have customers pick up things from my house.

But they have been a pretty bad company in dealing with issues that have come up. I love my synapse DV, it works great. But my buddy got one and the and broke off from casting flaws. It took over a year for them to send him a replacement and then when he did get one it was machined incorrectly or something. Theres a thread here he made with some pics I think, BrianAWD

I need an o-ring kit for my synchronic DV. I've had 3 on order from Vivint for a couple months now. Please help, synchronic. You've not answered calls or emails.

The original owner and inventor (patent holder) is gone, and the company has been bought out by some other entity that seems to completely stink and not even care about the website, sales or support. I'm sorry to break it to you, but if you need parts your better off replacing the entire unit with Tial or Cobb because I don't think anyone is supporting that company anymore.

Good to know. Id def support something else even though I still have my synapse. Not sure what else works as well for bleeding boost going from full to light throttle without dumping all pressure.
