Fuel pump (positive) power wire?

Any one know which wire from the harness that plugs into the fuel pump assembly carries the positive power wire?

I'm going to be installing a boost-a-pump and need to use that power wire.

Also is there a different/better location I can cut into it from other than by the tank area?

Get a probe tester. Do you have one? Comes in super handy.

Ok bought a multimeter . Seems like the thick white wire is the positive power wire . Anyone have a service manual or some sort of scamatic to confirm ?

Also where do these wires run to? Any better location in cabin rather than the pump assembly spot ?

I confirmed and the white 14 gauge is the positive power wire and the black 14 gauge next to it is the negative.

Boost a pump installed and running.

Just adding this info in case any one else searches, here is the answer.

I'm glad you found it out. Did you tap the wire by the fuel sending unit? What exactly is a boost a pump?

Yes that is where I tapped the wire.

A Kenney Bell boost-a-pump is a device that increases the input voltage towards the output. There for increasing the fuel pump voltage will increase the fuel flow capacity. Say for example a walboro 255 pump flows at 255 lph at 12 volts. Well with a boost-a-pump increasing the voltage to 17 volts, it may flow as much 300+ lph.
