I'd expect 320awkw on a DD would be achievable with a .92a/r EFR7064 - it isn't the smallest turbine ever and the EFR twin scrolls don't appear to be too restrictive.

spool seems very good so far i actually expected it to beat my 3076 but its just barely off, by 4500rpm it has catched and passed the 3076 (non hta) and makes 450ft/lbs vs the 430ft/lbs of the 3076.

I will do a full write up in the dyno section and also post it in this thread. once the next round is done.

Well I wouldn't expect it to outspool a 3076. I would think results would be what you are seeing. The 8374 is a 79lb/min turbo while even the hta/gtx versions of the 3076 are 65lb/min at best (fp claims 59lb/min efficiently). So that spool is impressive if its even w/in a few hundred rpm's.

That's almost a perfect setup in my eyes. Forgive me if I missed it, but what turbo setup do you have on the car? 1.25 runners? A/R?

That is very very good if you are even comparing it with the GT3076R! How does it feel to drive? I'd not be surprised if it seems very likely - like comparable to the GT30 even. And WOW at the GT3076R results, that has to be WAY up there for a cast GT3076R!

Im well aware of the differences between these two turbos, i guess i expected this 8374 to come close in spool based on things i had that where not ideal on my old set up , that would be a more accurate way of saying what i did.

My new set up is 8374 EWG with the 1.05 AR. Using a Full Race T-4 manifold and there smaller runners on that(they offer two sizes) but im not sure what the exact size is 1.25 sounds right.

Have not driven it yet , since HG needed to be redone. And yes old 3076 did pretty good, even for non HTA i belive it was highest 3076 English racing have ever done. 572whp.

Well for now this is the final number the 8374 did. Its about right where i expected it to be for peak power. I was not fully prepared for how cool this turbo really is and how well this combo worked out. I cant imagine a street car to be more fun than this, the responce/transient response is out of this World car feels INSANE. Even off boost it feels totally different.
Apart from how great the car feels im so happy on where it makes power and how soon it comes on, a friend(MRFRED) that drove the car also that has a 2.0 with BBK full said he could hardly tell a difference between his car and mine on how it spools.
The car is still at ER but as soon as i get it back i will be giving more reports..

actually, transient response is significantly better than my BBK Full. with uvambo's evo, boost is linearly proportional to throttle and instantaneous. full throttle at 5000 rpm provides instant full boost and acceleration. friggin' awesome.

you see that boost is dropping as well?

Yes fred a couple of psi I would guess.? Where are you going with that? Boost control doing it? Out of puff or ?. Surely the couple psi reduction alone is not the cause of the "imo" sudden drop in power

Just mentioning that it does correlate with the start of the power drop off. I don't know the origin of it. Not sure it matters much. The car is a beast.

I believe that particular drop off is backpressure based on what I have seen with other cars.

No wrong there

Off topic. I'm getting a bbk full in 2-3weeks looking above full boost@3.5k i'll be revving to 8.25k that's nearly a 5krpm power band
I'll be gutted if its on its knees at 8+.
