n2oiroc,

How does the turbine housing casting look/feel to you? That part was apparently the manufacturing holdup, so I'm interested in your hands on opinion inside and out...

Turbine is great, surface feels like media blasted smooth stainless. The compressor isnt as good, there is a little flash inside the surge port area but its minor. Ill clean it up anyways.

Borg Warner does recommend no more than a 20* tilt right to left. The FF manifold holds the turbo at exactly 20. The reason the turbo looks to be at a extreme angle is because the front of the evo was up on stands

If the pics with the shop's website break forum rules mods feel free to take them down i don't want to offend anyone since i'm not a vendor.

It's sad that we cannot see these pics anymore since they would have served to progress this thread with more ideas and thought-provoking conversation about the EFR and possible configurations and scenarios. All because people are worried that a non-vendor's website may leak out.

Anyway, our custom Full-Race FF EFR 9180 kit should hopefully be done soon! Geoff has done a killer job thus far with it and we are waiting anxiously for the mid-pipe to be finished and for BW to get those TS 9180's shipped! Will definitely post up more pics of the completed turbo kit once we have it!

Looks like they simply got posted on a site where you only get so many looks per month and too many people already looked... They should be attached to the post so they're hosted here and that would not be an issue...

I will try and get some pics up of the work in progress but it's got a custom condenser/lines/fittings

It's not yet finished as you can tell by the manifold but hope to have it done soon since Jesse's back from vacationing in Hawaii

Ya this is the first time running into issues using Photobucket but i guess they want some money from me now no more free-bees i guess.

Anyone else know of a good free place to host pics

I don't have access to the computer they are on right now but will attach them when i get to it later tonight.

Thanks for looking wasn't sure if anyone was even interested in a silly single scroll set-up lol...................

fyi - matchbot is a very input-sensitive software so its easy to fool yourself into thinking the result will not be as anticipated. In fact someone on another forum hacked the matchbot software, to allow for the garrett turbos to be plugged in and mapped. It was reallly interesting to see how far off the map a 30R and 35R operate at... makes the EFR plots look even better
