The bottom mount manifold comes damn close to the AC compressor, will be tight fit for sure. Discussed this a few pages back, some pics here: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/pr...fr7670-23.html . 3rd pic down gives you an idea of what you're up against

Note - pics are of an EWG manifold, to my best knowledge the bottom mount IWG & EWG manifolds are the same

Still waiting for my Hypertune tilt manifold (which should alleviate this issue)

I assumed correctly in my original post, as that is not the same manifold that I have. It is similar, but the turbo is moved farther away from the A/C compressor to suit both the IWG housing and a mandrel bend on the
Downpipe.

No doubt fitment will be tight, but this manifold is designed around the B1 IWG EFR so it should be doable.

The Hypertune manifold should be great for you, but Pete could not assure fitment with the T4 7163 and its longer housing for me.

hi awhite - can you say, does this 7163 manifold use a BW EFR bracket for the actuator? or does it use something weird? kiki says 7163 bracket is not good, full-race tells me it is fine

Pretty ballsy sending stuff out for coating before mocking it up to check for fitment..

I think the Borg bracket will be ok, but we'll see when I start putting stuff on. Worst case I can get another bracket/modify this one.

I am sure BW bracket will fit fine with FR manifold.. the problem is it is less than optimal geometry..

You mean Auburn AL? Cause if you'r now in GA that's 5 mins from my house lol. Interested in fit and finish for sure with these WG brackets and such being worked out. I think I sold my A/C back in 08 lol. Keeping an eye on FR and CBRD kits as this 7163 80A/R seems to be a perfect road race combo.

R/TErnie, I'd love to check out your set up next time I'm in Auburn. My in-laws live there and I lived there 06-09 for school. I know a bunch of the past and present APR crew.

We go to Montgomery Motorsport Park frequently. We'll be going quite a bit in February (good DA and good prep for other events)
