Overboosting after turbo install

My friend and I installed an FP Black ealier this week but I'm noticing that the car is overboosting, almost like there's no stop. So, I turn the boost down almost all the way to kind of work my way back up (it was a bit cold out); however, it's still overboosting. I'm trying to figure out if we hooked up a line or something wrong. Do you guys have any ideas why this would be happening even when the boost is turned down all the way? Also, the car was already tuned with the FP Black. I had to have it rebuilt.

Thanks for your help!

Mike

we need some more info before we can help diagnose the problem.
Like n2oiroc asked, what kind of boost controller are you using? Is it behaving more like boost creep or just uncontrollable?
Until you resolve the problem I suggest that you just run the car at wastegate pressure for safety (run a line from off the j-pipe to the actuator with nothing in between)

It's a dual-stage boost controller. Picked it up from BR. Even though I'm only using the low boost controller, I turned both all the way down but I'm still getting 30+ psi. Maybe the issue has to do with the wastegate. I ran the line from the boost controller to the nipple on the wastegate but was their any adjustments or anything that needed to be made? Is there any other information I give that would help?

Thanks again!

I don't know if this helps since it a new BC... I just had a issue with used dejon tool BC... overboosting!!! No matter how far out I screwed out the knob boost wouldn't go down.. anyway I opened it up and the bearings and the spring was rusty and stuck ..
Cleaned them up with some oil and put everything back together bamm works perfect again..
