Seems to be what I am thinking as well. I have the dwell about where a 2G is (we did 1009whp/48psi on stock 2G once upon a time) stock. They really arent in the same category, the manley h beams arent nearly as strong.

how much hp are you giving up in the midrange with the timing that low? Seems like going back to a 2.2 with full timing would probably make similar midrange but be better up top.

Oh well I know that when I talked to aaron on the phone about manley I beams and he said the GSC H beams were somewhere around 100g's lighter iirc then the I beams.

Ya I know my GSC I beams are lighter than the Manley I Beams but I can't remember what the GSC I Beams weigh, hold on I'll find out....
