These are the GSC H beam which are actually beefier than the Manley H beam. In talking to Greg he says to man up and go for it. I am thinking if I am going to do a bigger rod and piston then I would probably drop to a 2.2 and rev it out again with this combo. Lots of data to process before I make a decision, its looking like a larger housing (since spool is same right now) and then the downpipe and get nutty.

how much hp are you giving up in the midrange with the timing that low? Seems like going back to a 2.2 with full timing would probably make similar midrange but be better up top.

Ya I know my GSC I beams are lighter than the Manley I Beams but I can't remember what the GSC I Beams weigh, hold on I'll find out.... Ring, Ring, Ring, Aaron picks up the phone, "English Racing, this is Aaron how can I assist you?", "Hey Aaron it's Mikey, what is the weight on my GSC I Beams", Aaron answers.....................
