installed new clutch but have a problem

installed new clutch but have a problem

Hey guys need some help I just installed my clutch but there's a problem or maybe not but I hit the gas a little to pass a car but it won't push any power and it started smelling like clutch do I need to let the clutch break in is that why? Any ideas thanks guys

So the RPM's shoot up but you don't go anywhere? Did you adjust your clutch pedal after the install?

new clutch problems help

Hey guys need help my new exedy stage 1 hd clutch is slipping and smell it wasn't that bad in the morning but I got off it started to slip even more than what the old clutch used to so I bleed the clutch

Is there special way of loosening the locknut? Besides twisting my body to see underneath i can't seem to get enough leverage to budge the nut loose since the 5" long wrench keeps hitting the floor. Is there anything i need to pull out to get enough clearance to turn the wrench?

Did you clean the oil residue off the pressure plate/flywheel if they were new?
