No BS this has been and will continue to be my #1 recommendation for bolt-on turbos, it is the best mix of power, spool, smoothness, ***-kicking, smile-enducing, and reliability. I put 20k on mine before my car's untimely demise but it lives on kicking *** in mrfred's car.

Thank you for the awesome review!

I think Mr. Hoops said it well. If you're running an Evo 8 or 9 turbo... don't go to a green...make the jump to the BBK... its more of an improvement rather than a "lateral move"

we take everything we find apart to look at

thats what people in our industry and mentality do- does that mean we copy things- no---

my drive for the BBK came from the idea of a "50 trim in a stock housing" originally- which were my exact words to Blouch when the design idea came up-

we did like the green- but wanted something different.

after reading this, and countless other threads on the BBK Full, I finally decided to sell my GT35r and make the move. For my setup, intendended use of the car and ultimate goals I think this is the best turbo out there. I just hope the BBK FULL II doesn't come out 1 week after I pull the trigger.

CBRD, soon as my gt35r sells I will be calling ya'll.

So then you are going to be looking for something more what... auto-X and daily drive efficient and receptive from a BBK type setup then, or not so much? What are the main activities you get into with your 35R if I may inquire? What exactly is it that it's not doing for YOU that has made you want to trade up??

I autox and HPDE with my car primarily and when I got the 35r i was all about drag racing and straight line speed. I only visit the strip maybe once per year now if that. the 35r really shines in that arena, but would be too lagy and unresponsive on an autox course or coming out of some of the tight corners on the tracks I frequent. I'm sure the top end would be insane, but I would then need to upgrade my brakes too, lol.

Thanks for the kind words

there will be new BBK turbos for a bit- we have ball bearing turbos in testing, but with some of the MHI price hikes coming, and the cost for the bb cart setup, it isnt really effective!

Right On I am looking forward to reading more posts from you in the future once you do the flip in addition to doing some more research on the BBK Full. I am going to finish testing the limitations and full capabilities of this GTII right now though and maybe a BBK Full might be a more effecient option over a GT35R. Thanks for the insight and opinion bro.

BBK full sounds pretty good. So, what's the turn around time? If I sent them my IX turbo this week when would I get it back?

Why not add the bb setup as an option to your BBK line? I know the Brits are having great success adding them to a lot of existing stock frame turbos.

Nice. Well, maybe you guys should answer the phone and take orders rather than posting on forums. I just called you, no answer.

Chad has a wireless connection between EvoM and his frontal cortex.

ball bearing bbk would be sweet! but the price would definitely be high, closer to a garret. whats up with Chads account being disabled now? fyi, getting them on the phone is tough. but if you email him, he will get back to you within 24 hours. I just spoke with him twice 2 days ago. give him a shout, he'll take care of you no doubt!

Call and leave a message with your number on the machine. They are a small shop and I found that if I left a message I was called back/emailed quickly in response. I had no problems getting my BBK-Full from Chad including answering a lot of my questions before purchasing.
