I def hear that on the hit or miss seen some crap on their cams here mostly on the IX's.

The 272's gained 30hp 30tq on my VIII when I put them in back in IDK 06 maybe. That is on par with what others were gaining with the 272's from both BC and HKS at the time. Folks were getting good power from the 280's as well.

I would not even consider those cams at this point. GSC seems to have set the standard for EVO cams these days and S2's FTW

honestly I know most people dont like BC products, but to be honest im runnin them when I push the car I shift at 8k, my engines built 29k on it on pump gas, BC springs retainers and keepers. HKS 272 cams been on it for the past 45k miles, and in the next few weeks swapping to kelford 272s....honestly BC products are not crap, some have had issues with them, but hey not to go off topic, but how many people jockin a megan 02 housing, most ppl say there crap, some swear by them since there cheap. So are the GSC beehive springs good? yes... Are the BC springs/retainers good? yes, so in the end you gotta ask yourself how high you wanna rev? from what i was told the BC valvetrain is good for about 8500 rpms... i dont run my car that high. So good luck op

IMHO the cams arent that great from BC. I used to run the BC 280 in mine and now im running the GSC S2's wich feel a lot better. I have no problem with my BC valvetrain tho.

if your going through the trouble of changing your valve springs and cams, do it right the first time and spend another couple hundred on parts guaranteed to work. the gsc spring and ti retainer kit is worth the $$ imho
