Paint chipping inside oil pan?

Has anybody ever experienced the coating on the inside of the oil pan chipping? What'd you do to remedy it? Extremely concerned I'm gonna start sucking up paint chips through the oil.

They probably didn't get the pan properly degreased before painting. I have paint popping off of my valve cover. I'd say the fix is to buy a new pan.

Go get it sand blasted and powder coated.

I wouldn't sand blast ANYTHING that see's the inside of the engine. Its almost impossible clean off every single bit of sand out. Especially valve covers. Next thing you know, you spin a bearing.

It's very easy to get all that sand out, Ive done it a few times now and have yet to have an issue. Sand blast it, hot tank it let it dry and the powder coat it.

Thanks

I did blast the inside of the pan, cleaned it and repainted the outside only. Not risking anything flaking internally again
