Your pushing the limits of the turbo with that much boost. you really can't make much more boost on the stock turbo. So if you want a more boost going to need a bigger turbo. but more boost may not mean more safe hp

I found that my car like 28psi, however I have had it up to 32psi on the stock evo 9 turbo before. Currently I am doing some more tuning at 31.5psi. After I get my FP FAP, and MAP Ver2 Intake manifold, I might even try 35psi just to see what the car does. Also I am on stock cams, which is not doing me any good .

Stock '03 turbo will do around 32-33psi with the WG locked shut. Turbo won't be happy with it, but you sure will be.

a decent tuner can get it up to 31 u just have make sure that its controlable in hi gears such as 5th and low engine speeds like 2900 ive seen them hit 35 in fifth and rods not taking the torque the it produces e8 rods a little weaker then e9 at least do arp bolts on the rods ive tuned e9 street cars on stock e9 turbo to 33 psi on 93 making 390 trq on mustang dyno and never blown a single motor its all in afrs and timing

On 91oct I run 23.5psi. I will rape my car around at that boost and I dont really care about the weather . On E85, that is when it gets fun. In the super heat I am running 31.5psi all day long right now. On E85 I sware the car runs better when it is hot outside .

Yep it is all about the tune. A good tune will make your car do things you never thought possible. However a bad tune and you will be spitting engine parts all over the road.

ok The Boz that makes sense, I was assuming your were runnin that much boost on 91, i was like wtf, really...damn man for how long have you been runnin that? haha, but on e85 yea thats some potent *** stuff, im tryin to max out my pump gas setup on an fp red, it goes on the dyno for final retune on the 14th at Tuning Tech. So well see after that gonna hold off for a while and eventualyl once its paid off buy bigger injectors and double pumper and try for 500 ish haha

VIII turbos 28psi
IX turbos 30psi

Those are my recommended numbers. They are not made to run a lot of boost. They start to blow nothing but hot air and will do nothing but make loads of torque and blow up! lol
