MBC and Dynoflash question

My mods were an AEM intake and Buschur Muffler Delete Pipe. I received my Dynoflash on 10/25/03. I was at 265whp with the Dynoflash, intake and Pipe. That 265whp was with about 1-1.5psi LESS boost due to the pipe.

I had a Hallman Evolution Pro RX MBC installed today. I did tons of runs to dial it it to hold at 19psi. My question is...should I have reset the ECU before I dialed it in...or...should I now reset my ECU now that it's dialed in...or...should I not bother resetting it at all?

But I listed 3 options

...or we're you referring to resetting it before AND after the install?

Well it is over 5 hours from here to Pruven and I don't know if I can make that trip again I'm thinkin sendin in the ECU would save some time and headaches of that damn NJ/NY traffic

EDIT: What technical changes would you make to my already reflashed ECU if I would send it in to incorporate the new MBC?

Just put the MBC on and you're good to go. I'm running about 20psi with the same mods you have - using the Buschur MBC (aka Hallman). 285awhp

You need the Buschur 2.5" DP to scratch at 300

Agreed - he can just put the MBC in with no problems

However i do have a flash more directed towards that use

The best of course is a custom retune

Anyway you like you'll be ok !

Al-

What level of boost (max level) would you recommend running on just the "stage rev" tune?

Just to clear up things, if I were to send my ECU in to you, you would not just reflash my ECU to one of your standard mail in flashes with boost control....You would make changes to my current map of 265whp to incorporate the new MBC (like change timing, A/Fs or something like that)....correct?

I'm interested in hearing the answer to this...

As of recent I've been considering throwing on the Boost guage, MBC setup to push and hold boost at 20psi (if possible).

After already getting a custom tune (MD), would you, AL, be able to incorporate the higher boost setting into a mail-in reflash?

Yes - we can help you to get it running very well on higher boost

However - nothing beats a custom tune - if you change something bihg like adding 3 psi your going to need a retune

However if you only go up like 1 psi you should still be fine

Yes - I have your map - I would just extend the values down deeper into the load references - - not a guarantee that its perfect - but your low boost would remain as is

Best bet is to get over to see me when you have some time - - but not everyone can do that - thats why we do the through the mail tuning - so far everyone likes it but we do stay on the rich and safe side !
