Exclamation Evo 4 clutch

Hi, I looked around here and didn't quite find what I was looking for. I am in need of a clutch and I read on here that a EVO 8 clutch will fit as long as you have the EVO 8 flywheel but, do you need to get the EVO 8 starter as well?

I will try to lean away from getting a EVO 8 clutch and so I tried finding EVO 4 clutches but came out empty handed. I'm daily driving my EVO so I want a nice simple clutch.

What suggests do you guys have on what clutch I should get and where I can get it?
I live in Canada and have one of the first ones here so finding parts for it is difficult.

Thanks.

They have OEM clutch for 255 pounds. Not sure why you would want a low end clutch in a performance car, but ok.

to install an evo 8 clutch in an evo 4..u will need an evo 8 clutch, flywheel and pressure plate. the evo 8 flywheel is larger in diameter and better for an evo 4. when u remove the evo4 clutch from ur car, u will see an alignment dowel sticking out the crank. have it removed using a vice grip orrr simply take a small hack saw...cut it off...and sand lightly until the area is flush with the crank surface. i have an act clutch installed and its very liveable.

JDN, did you have any luck afterward in finding a clutch? I am currently in the process of finding one as well, so I'd appreciate any experience you can share.

Cheers,
Phil

Just as ktdm said. I have the complete ACT XT kit with street disc and Streetlite flywheel on my IV. Just remove dowel pin from crank. No starter issues. Ajust pedal as needed. No judders after breaking in...lots of launches and hard driving.... now 3 years further, no issues.....so far
