Were is the ACT Man?

Hey ACT guys can yall do a product/application description for your EVO clutches? Your WEB site isnt updated and some of your TX distributors dont know whats going on Guys that have the ACT stuff please post your approval or dissapproval. I am kinda put off by the hit or miss of the JDM stuff and Shepp swears by ACT so they are my main focus now

Thumbs up

We've had nothing but success with the ACT clutch for the Evo VIII. We were actually the ones that helped ACT prototype and test the clutch. Brought us into 11 second territory!

If I'm not mistaken, the clamping force is 2900 lbs. Torque capacity 497 ft.lbs. 38% increase in clamping force. This is for the Street application (full-face, sprung hub, street disc)

We've got one in stock. If you're interested shoot me a PM or email.

Darryl

Sorry about the cobwebs on the site. We totally changed the site, the server host, etc. and are trying to work out some bugs so the information has been neglected. We don't even have our current pricing on line yet. We are building some huge database that is suposed to make magic happen or something. I don't know, it's my techie's baby and he is still in labor.

All the feedback we have been getting is good, no complaints except availability.

Sorry but ours are only good for those that are 79.5% commuter. If you search you will find more information but bottomline, ours are more durable, last longer, hold more power, and improve shifting. We are using the stock geometry meant for the EVO so it just bolts right in. It is slightly stiffer because of the stronger diaphragm spring.
