I just used a stock 4g64 MLS EVO gasket. Hopefully it holds up.

How many layers and how does the construction compare to the evo8 gasket?

Someone referenced this gasket MD332035, its only $17 cheaper than the oem 8 gasket so I'm curious how the construction is. As long as its not thinner or a lesser quality material it should be good to go.

Any more feedback on what gasket to go with? Any personal feedback please mention what psi/power level you are at and also what studs are you running. I plan to be around 650-700 whp

The best you can go with for that power level and price is an oem. Just get the gasket and bring it to a machine shop to bore match it and you'll be good to go

It is super thin and two layers. Seemed to hold perfectly for me. No issues. Only 45 shipped from Mitsubishi parts.net.

I am 88mm bore, so that is too wide to bore the 4g63, but I could use a 4g64 MLS and bore it out a little. But from what I understand it is thinner. I also plan on running the map h11 or running the arp 625's

I run a JE. So far so good. Seems like a very well constructed piece.

How's your JE gasket holding up? I just bought one, and plan on using it for my 2.4LR build!

I used cosworth it is exactly 87mm, all OEM are 87,5 and that stops me, cometic is junk 100%.

any one has part number for OEM head gasket that is exactly 87mm, Evo 8 head?

I'm in the same boat. Also looking to do a 2.1 so if anyone has any updated info to share about the HG or anything else related to the 2.1 I'd greatly appreciate your input.
