CBRD 2.3RB and LMP turbo kit- inside
#16
A "no BS" operation you've got running there, impressive work.
Chad, you commented a while ago when you first released the LMP kits that they would all be WG recirulated. Is that a shop preference due to noise, emissions or some other performance oriented reason? Maybe you've answered this question already but I try to follow your build threads closely, and I haven't seen any specific info about it. Thanks...

Recirculating wastegates isn't a high performance practice at all.

maybe we lack high performance
in this power range (up to 700whp) we have found no benefit to running an open dump...
we also DO hate the noise---- it may be fun when its your weekend play car- but when we are on the dyno multiple times per day it simply gets old...
we also put alot of time into merge angles on the recirc tubes, bov returns, etc to create a scavenging affect or non turbulent affect within the pipes...
everyone will have an opinion on this... but quite simply its how we prefer to do things...
in this day and age many people make dump tubes simply to be obnoxious... and well... thats not us

this is a 35R turbine wheel with a proprietary compressor wheel...
it spools excellent because of the increased displacement and proper design of the manifold, o2, downpipe, intake etc....
if you want specific information on what our turbo capacity is, please pm me.
cheers
