Max power on FIC1100s running E85?

My FIC1100s appear to be going static (100% IDC) right as I cross 500 whp on E85 that's 82% ethanol. Wondering if anyone else has experience with maxing out these injectors.

I haven't maxed out a set of the FIC 1100s as most people are on stock turbos still... However I did max out ID1000s at around 475HP on E85, single rewired & modded 255, this was on oem FPR, so base pressure was around 56 psi...

Even with the W400 in there?

Sounds about right, lots of local guys max out PTE1000's on a single walbro 255 around 500whp...I'd think with the w400 you would have a bit more headroom though

I am right about 450whp, and at 90-92% DC on mine. I was going to do a double pumper and a AFPR and bump the base to like 60psi, to extend the output.

From the posts so far, it sounds like 500 whp is about right for a 1000 cc/min injector on E85. Between the W400 and my -6 AN hose supply line, there's plenty of fuel for the stock fpr to maintain a net fuel pressure of 43.5 psi across the injectors, so my setup is a best case scenario for the stock fpr. I'm contemplating doing what TheBoz did and increasing my baseline pressure to 55 psi. That should be enough for 560 whp. Or I might buy a set of FIC1250s and sell my FIC1100s. I sure would like to stay on a high-Z injector though...

1250's is probably the right way to go, don't get too tied to the high-z injectors....they 1250's will do dandy

I thought there was an issue with the FIC 1250s, no? This was why I selected the FIC 1450s. This is very interesting.

1250s and 1450s are in the same family. No prob with them. The FIC1680s which are in a different family of injector were a problem though.
