After you hear it squeek, shut the car off and feel the belts. If you feel a belt that is a lot hotter than the others, see if you can get that belt tightened.

I had the same errrie squeek and it was a lose clamp in my turbo back exhast.
At first I thought the noise was my suspension. I wasted a lot of time oiling and rebuilding stuff because I didn't know the real problem.

I guess the first question is, did you get water in the engine compartment?

If you are sure it's the belt then it may be something more then that. Normally a belt won't start squeling at this mileage. You may have something going bad, like the belt tensioner or an idler pulley or Power steering pump. One way to tell is to get some spray silicone like CRC makes and with the car at ilde and making the noise, spray the backside of the belt for a few second. IF it goes away for awhile then it is the belt. If it comes back almost immediately then it is probably something else.

Dude, you got water on the belt. Let it dry out and it will be fine.
