I double checked and ticking is more pronounced on #1 cylinder

Wonder if anyone can help help me,with my ear right on my oil cap it seemed more pronounced then the others,i reved the engine and the tick went faster, car has 14000 miles, can you guys check on your evos with your ear directly on the oil cap if you hear a ticking from you #1 cylinder, doesnt start ticking untill about 30 seconds after warm up...

Im paranoid about these things

Well the car is still running fine and sounds the same. I assume there was no damage done, but I will definitely be doing a compression check just to make sure. I am definitely alot more concious about downshifting now. Well I just don't do it anymore for a while aleast, LOL. I will take a listen to my vavles just as a quick check. I will be getting ARP head studs in like another month or so. I plan on pulling the head to put them in. I will then be able to see if anything was damaged. Oh, I forgot to say that I pulled my spark plugs out and looked down at my cylinders and they looked fine with no signs of damage from hitting a vavle. That's not to say that I couldn't have bent one slightly though. The compression test should definitely tell me though. Thanks for the advice!!!!

I did a compression test. Here are the results:
#1=170
#2=170
#3=175
#4=175
I am guessing that these numbers are good and that everything is fine.

what are the results of a compression test measured in? (i.e. what does "175" mean for a cylinder)?
