Trans fluid change help

Doing a tranny and TC fluid change on an 03 evo 8 gsr with about 120k miles and I have some question..

1. For the TC I went to mitsu and got the ATF SP-lll oil..2qts is that enough and is this the right fluid..It didn't have any viscosity number on it so I got confused

2. I am just sticking to OEM and was wondering what the oil is called and how much would I need..the guy at mitsu didn't seem like he knew what he was looking for..so if someone could get me the name, viscosity, and how much I need that'd be great

3. Does my evo have the LSD tranny, ayc, or acd? I know my evo was the first year in the US..and I just recently purchased this evo which is my first evo..

drive train is completely stock..thanks

DO NOT PUT THAT FLUID IN YOUR TC

Diaqueen 90wt LSD in TC and Rear Diff is what you want

Doesn't sound like the parts guy knows his stuff. Use ONLY Mitsubishi Diagreen LSD Gear Oil 90W for the TC, nothing else.

As far as I know, non-RS 03 Evos did not have LSD, AYC or ACD.

Good you asked. That likely saved you a re-build in a few weeks - no joke.

Also, be sure to read and follow the How To for TC oil change (fill, drive and fill again).

The ATF SPIII is for ACD equipped evos, it's the fluid that goes in the ACD pump's reservoir, you have no ACD, so you do not need that fluid.
