after the tune, the hit 29psi and held to 28psi,granted it was a large turbo.

keep up the testing,we all appreciate it and i am sure it's a thankless job.
I would keep your hallman. To me, if you already own the hallman, its not worth upgrading to the others, unless you just wanna try a different one out.

On the other hand, if your have no MBC and are about to buy one, then my testing comes in very handy.

Nothing wrong with the buschur...works great. The only thing people complain about is the fact that you have to remove a vac line to adjust the boost with the inline controller. They have a regular style controller as well.

From my testing, the Perrin/Buschur spools faster than the Hallman. But the Hallman suits a stock turbo better.

If you want the inline style, I would buy a Perrin over the Buschur. When you take the two apart, the Buschur controller's internal spring looks like it was part of a much longer spring that was cut to length and inserted into the body of the controller. While the Perrin has much better finish. Buschur is a copy of the Perrin.

With a 3 port, you have to really understand the curve of that turbo, to get it setup correctly. I've seen many tunes, even ones by "Pros" ramp the turbo up too quick, and then try to force it to maintain a set pressure, which in turn will shorten the life of the turbo and produce a less consistent tune.

A turbo will only flow as much as it was built for, a boost controller is not going to magically change that, so don't buy something with that impression in mind. Spend your money on intake and exhaust flow.

I have a Hallman Pro that I would sell. Send me a PM if you are interested. Comes with a custom bracket to mount it as shown in the picture.

that looks like a good place to mount if you have a heat shield/stock mani.

probably get too hot with headers, but i did read that the closer you can get it to the WG,the quicker it will spool.

Is there any advantages of the bushur inline to the normal boost controller?

I have had better luck with the spring and ball type boost controller.

The GrimmSpeed is cool because you will make the smart-*** evo ECU monitor your boost. Through the ECU you will have all kinds of cool options that the MBC can't offer. The GrimmSpeed will give you more control like Boosted Tuning said. There is also a groovy variable boost patch to help against overboosting in cold weather. Make that nerdy ECU do your math homework bro; umm.... worth it!

And if you are worred about the tune get Booted Tuning to sort you out. They have a good street rep.

I emailed GrimmSpeed when I was researching boost controllers to buy as a gift. They responded very quick and answer my questions. Regarding where they are made: "Down the street from us in Minnesota . They are 100% our own unique
design and we oversee the manufacturing process!"

Ordered the GrimmSpeed from MAP. Recepient loved the look and the ease of setting it.
