How much can a stock Evo 8 drivetrain hold?
Okay and even after you preload can you dump the clutch or still have to feather it?
Never dump the clutch, that's what breaks driveline parts. Slip the clutch. I was makinging 450hp and 415tq for over a year on the stock tranny, t-case, and axles. My 3rd gear went before anything but that's my fault and my driving. Now I'm making over 500hp on the stock t-case and axles. It all comes down to driving habits. You dump the clutch all the time then prepare to replace driveline parts.
