Twin Scroll stock Frame With External Wastegate

Hello,

I have installed a stock turbo with a flapper wastegate welded. I use the stock manifold with 44 wasegate discharge only in the 1 and 4 cilinder exhaust manifold.
There is any problem about this? I have some problems about amount of lag with this configuration.
The turbo is a td06 25g with 10.5 housing.

Thanks!!

It's a terrible idea to only vent 2 cylinders.

I would mount the EWG to a custom o2housing with WG flapper removed. Similar to this

You have lost me here. How can it be a stock turbo and at the same time a TD06-25G? Probably I am not quite up to speed on the nomenclature. But, still I don't understand what you are talking about.

Let's not even get into why you are doing whatever it is that you have done to a perfectly good Evo. You are not really in Spain. More likely a castle in Transylvania, huh? This is a joke from some dude over on the Subaru boards, right?

This is a bad idea. you are bleeding the pressure off one of the scroll's only. This will cause a turbine housing failure quickly.

If you have already welded your internal wastegate shut, i would recommend adding a wastegate pipe from runnings 2+3 to your existing pipe. Make sure they are divided all the way to the wastegate valve.

This keeps the scrolls seperate until the wastegate valve opens.

Cheers, Mike

dude really?? you were warned it would be laggy. reread posts 109, 115, 118.

there is nothing wrong with venting only one side of twin scroll. I have a factory mitsu 24v twin scroll turbo here with factory internal gate that only vents one side of scroll. scrolls are not sealed from one another. pressures equalize at turbine.

yes sir, you're right and I doubt yet

Now I bought a new exhaust housing and tested with a internal wastegate.

Thanks Again !!!
