I put the alternator in! I removed the downpipe and the passenger side axle. If you rotate the alternator about the z axis (vertical) 180 degrees... it will come out more easily. Basically the pulley faces the driver's side of the car.

The PROPER belt size for an Evo WITHOUT A/C and using the SMALL diameter overdrive pulley is 56.022"

Put the car back together today and should be driving it tomorrow. I'll take a log and see what's up!

I just packed my stock alt... I live in bham Wa.

If you put your own pulley on the alt... You can use your oem belt.
