Interested in a high output Alternator?
Still working on it. I found some broken parts on my car during inspection last night.... need to refab my front undercar brace. A cone killed my air filter, front bumper lip, and my intake pipe bracket. Thanks Trevor!!! :P
I need to weld in new threaded studs for the Front motor mount. placed properly and with 1 not stripped from having a coarse thread fastener put into a fine thread hole. Not naming names, but I didn't do it.
I really don't want to test both pulleys (install it twice) because I just want to use the underdrive unit... because I'm lazy for not wanting to swap pulleys... or buy the tool to pull the pulley off.

Sent the Excessive Amperage guys an email. I have a brand new 2012 Mitsubishi Lancer ES I'd like to put a system in and I don't think the stock alternator will cut it. Good info here and thanks for posting it.
what were the results? did it solve your misfire? early dsm and evos have an even crappier alternator, it drops to 13.2 and 12.7 when hot out. no misfires though. stock ignition 570wtq dynojet
