I have an evo 9 with a 2.4 built motor. The tranny was rebuilt with a longer 4th gear and an act unsprung 6 puck clutch and fidanza flywheel was installed with it. Sometimes when I am exiting off a highway where there is a sharp turn, the car will stall when I downshift and even when I am in neutral while making the turn. I have to give it some gas and the car will come back on while I am turning. I do not have to turn the key or anything where it stalls. The only way it wont stall is lets say Im on 3rd gear and I stay on that gear the whole time but sometimes I have to brake and downshift if the turn is sharp. Also, I have the clutch chatter that only goes away when my foot is on the clutch and when I get off 1st gear, there is a loud chalk board screeching sound. Does the stalling problem have anything to do with the tranny? I forgot to mention that it has ac delete, the compressor and all ac lines are taken off. There is a shorter belt that bypasses everything. So sometimes when Im going slow or are in neutral, the wheel is hard to turn because there is no power steering. Could this be the cause of the problem?

 

Are you getting into super low rpm's when it does it?

I would shift it 2-3 rpms and even if I put it in neutral and take the turn, the car should not stall but it does. My mods are:
