I would go with EF4. 1650's or better yet 2150's on E85. Why not go Bigger? you have supporting mod's

I realize that you haven't mentioned either of the following two large-wheeled, stock framed turbos, but, I'll toss the BB Black into the equation and for the sake of argument, I'll mention the CBRD BB BBK-C as well.

Either one of these two turbos is configured with compressors that will flow substantially equal CFM's to the EF4. Due however to their their newer B.B. technology they deliver improved turbo spool, transient response and longevity when compared, straight across, with the JB EF4.

Incidentally, you do realize that you can send your current Green into FP for an upgrade to BB Black specs for $50 less than you would spend if you were to purchase the JB EF4 outright from MAP?

yea its like a 1,900 upgrade. what a rip off might as well buy a whole new unit and than just sell your old one to make some money back.

Yeah, if you look at it strictly based on the cost of the upgrade then I would have to agree with you. I have a JB Red, and I personally can't justify the $1900 for a BB Red upgrade. I bought the turbo used for $1300. So, I would be better off selling my JB Red in the classifieds and buying something else new in BB format.

But, beyond the issue of the upgrade price alone, the OP doesn't seem to be too strapped for cash. I don't know why he doesn't want to take advantage of the newer BB technology. Why would he settle for older JB technology?

Freddy, look in the Dyno section. Someone just posted a 2.4 ef3 setup on low boost. It looks awesome! If I were you I would do the ef3, make 550whp and be done with it. Your call though.....
