experience with Yellow jacket ignition coil
experience with Yellow jacket ignition coil
Hi everyone! I living in New zealand ! I bought a set of aftermarket ignition coil which is called "yellowjacket coil for evo4-9" august of 2012 from www.yellowjacket.co.nz and his name is ross forsyth, it says 2 years warranty on the site. after I installed the coils, I feel NO difference at all but no spark blow out at high rev, so i assume it is ok to use but on the late november it start missing fire sometimes and then 1 coil totally xxxxed after a WOT in 3 gear. as soon as this happens I sent an email to him, he asked me to send coils back and will give me replacement blah blah....
He never got back to me until i frighten him that i will take the case to consumer guarantee act...
Then he said I broke 1 of the HT lead and that void the warranty and refuse to replace the coil...man I had 3 evos and I done over 20 times of spark plug change and never had an issue with the oem ht leads, and also it was working fine before I feel that missing fire at low rev and remove it.....
I see this product is selling on Ebay~~
so i like to tell everyone one NOT to buy this crap!! it says manufacture using imported material from europe .....but it looks like something not that serious to me

lets just get the accurate info in here dude
firstly would you like me to post your name every where?? and lets just be honest about what happened, you said there was an issue, no problem, I ask for the faulty coil to be returned so you sent them both to me...I replied which is the faulty coil?, ...you say you dont know....I say it may take a while as now I have to find someone with an evo and do the testing myself...several weeks and no evo customers can be talked into letting me use their cars, finally one does and then when I unpack your coils I find one of the HT leads badly damaged and the ends about to fall off, very likely the coils may be fine but the leads the issue, and why has it been treated so roughly that the ends about to fall off?? I say to you about the lead and the warrentee does not cover mishandling products, causing any damage or miss use....thats when you started threatening me and saying you would post your BS every where...
the facts are simple..buy another set of leads to replace the ones you wrecked end of story and stop your malicious posts

2. You only asked me to return the coil, I assume u will replace the whole unit for me!!
3. You are selling this product but you do not have the equipnment to test it??? how professional is your workshop.......
4. The whole unit was working fine until november it start miss fire, is that means the vibration or the heat can break the ht leads??? or its just an excuse for not replacing the coil??
5. How can I mis handling this product?? as I said before I owned 3 evos, i done at least 20times of spark plug change, how come my oem leads never break?? is it because the quality of your product is not up to standard??or its just another excuse???
6.Today i m not asking for replacement anymore, because I already lost the trust of your product and further arguement is just pointless, I just want everyone read this topic and make sure they keep in mind that someone had bad experience with this Yellowjacket coils

first of all Eric Lai, its just plain rude to make false accusations and plaster my name about when your sitting there with your name hidden, you may have not noticed that you had broken an HT lead, no problem, but then you try to pressure me to rufund all your money by these forum posts which are missleading and unfactual, but as your HT lead is not covered under any warentee as its has been broken off at the end not a manufacturing failure or fault!!!
Under the consumer act anything sold thats been broken or misstreated by the user is not covered by warentee, its like if you crashed your car and the motor caught fire would you expect to return the coils under warentee as they caught fire too?? $30 for a new lead..... but instead you refuse to accept this and try to misslead people an blacken my name when the problem is the person/s who fitted/removed the coils and damaged the HT lead

If you have a computer and the warranty is for one year, that doesn’t mean that you expect a new computer to only last one year. It is reasonable to expect that a new computer would last at least five years.
Under the Consumer Guarantees Act you can get a remedy if the goods don't last for a reasonable time.
Ht leads broken because of normal usage?? because i changed plugs too many times??
I already bought the cop kit from spoolinup! n dont want to waste time on your junk products! can you tell everyone where does these coils manufacture?????i seen chinese writing stickers inside box, different to what you advertised!!
