After bleeding the GSCs and putting them in I felt confident in everything. I'll let you know how they sound after start-up

Since you have concerns... turn that motor over by hand and make sure they dont sling a rocker.. I had that happen and that should also put any worries to rest and mitigate risk and you wondering what the hell happened on my new build. Just a thought. GL.

Thanks for the advice but I made sure I did that. After putting the cams in and timing the engine I rotated it about 15 times, periodically checking the lifters/rockers and making sure I didn't hear any crazy sounds. everything sounded great and turned smoothly.

Did they just have you bleed them?

I followed the normal procedure on bleeding them and once installed in the head, the valves never close all the way. 0 compression.

2.4L +1mm Valves on S3s, no piston to valve issues as the pistons have huge relief cuts. Never had an issue on stock lifters so I put them back in, just trying to quiet it all down, and the stocks have like 130k on them lol.

yeah they said once bled they'll operate just like a normal lifter and adjust properly.
Hopefully I don't run into those problems. I'll have to double check when I get back, i'm deployed right now and having the car sit for 5 more months is making me slightly nervous. lol I kept my stock lifters though they only had 65k
