Evo 9 vs evo 8 engine`s block
Guys
I need to know if the evo 8 and evo9 uses the exactly same block? the evo 9 has a threaded oil port for Mivec,
I have searched a lot and just find a part number for what it looks to be just one block for both 4g63 versions
1050A060
If anyone have the right part numbers for evo 8 and evo 9 block specifically, please share them
thanks

The blocks are the same, its the head is where the differences come in. The 9 block has the mivec feed line tapped into the block, on the 8, this spot is where the factory oil dummy light sensor is located. The factory oil dummy light sensor is located on the oil filter housing on the 9s.
