Ported turbo, no boost... HELP!!

So here's the deal, just had my exhaust manifold and turbo ported by Buschur. I put it all back in today, along with an aftermarket MAP rev2 o2 housing. Everything seems to be installed correctly, nice and tight.

No oil or coolant leaks, just MAJOR boost creep. WHY?

I'm completely stock besides catback exhaust and a fuel pump.

Turbo doesn't seem to want to spool until a very high RPM, and when it does it's a lot less pressure than it use to be.

Can anyone shed some light? Boost leak tests, etc? PLEASE HELP.

You check the pre load in the wga, and the boost creep issue can be because of the porting I've noticed it happen a lot a 3 port can help keep that under controll.

Did you get a tune after the porting?

How large is the hole in the o2 housing where the sides merge together? If it is too small it will cause boost creep. Check the pics in this thread to see what hole I'm talking about. https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...gate-port.html

The "no tune" part is not the reason for your problem.

The hole is pretty big actually.

Now that I have done a little more research I'm beginning to think it is more of a boost leak, instead of boost creep. The turbo seems to not want to spool at all (little to no pressure showing on boost gauge), and I feel almost no pull compared to the pull I had before I took the turbo out to be ported. Nor am I hearing much of a blow off like I use to.

I was sure to re-connect and tighten intake, j-pipe, vacum line, EM, o2 to DP (any place I could be leaking).

I also was sure to check all intercooler piping connections.
Maybe a boost leak test is appropriate?

I'm just mind boggled, I always thought porting caused a quicker spool. And I'm getting opposite results

check all the little things first. Everything that was disturbed during the removal/install. This includes the wastegate preload, boost controller vacuum lines, etc..

Turns out it was the WGA, now holding boost and spooling up after adjustment

I will still be running a boost leak test this weekend though, figure it won't hurt.

Thanks guys!
